WaaaazzZZzzzaaAAAaa...

Disappeared for a freaking long time..and now im back...but not yoing still =D so...not much has happened for me in this yoyo-ing scene..had a day with some kids who are fortunate and less fortunate at the YMCA on one weekend some months back..i myself cant remember the exact date if im not wrong its somewhere in august.


MYYC 07 then came long on the 18th of August and i did join the duncan division and the cepat challenge with ofcourse....no hope to win. havent been practising since january and the best part is i forgotten alot more tricks.oh well....i guess when you no longer have the time and motivation you would not do anything.

Was really looking forward to AP 2007 but when i check out Spinworkx site..it said this

AP07 Postponed to Mar 2008

We hereby annouce that there will be no Asia Pacific Yo-yo Championships this year in 2007. It will be scheduled for March 2008 in Singapore. Reason for postponing is because we are revamping the event concept and aim to make it even bigger and better next year. We also want to shift the event out of December which is a super peak season. Airfares and accomodation will be overpriced, which may pose difficulties to players around the region. We want to make it as easy and affordable for everyone who wants to be part of AP. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but watch out this space for more AP08 news and updates!

so...good news for me then..i get to save up and MAYBE practice for the coming competition?yea rite....haha. but im definately looking forward to meeting back some of the people i met in AP06.

Clean the old dirt

Alright..so ive not been cleaning bearings and spacers for a really long time..and not to my suprise..it takes forever to clean them..and still not able to make it looks somewhere near new.


could actually make it look a lil better..but im just too lazy to start scrubbing on these little thing..instead i tried polishing my yoyo that i been practicing on.




Signs of me practising...haha the dings(dents) and scratches...the yoyo actually flew to my window..but thank god i had grills...which prevented the window from breaking..but not preventing it from damaging my yoyo.

besides polishing ive been working on some tricks too..nothing new that ive invented at the moment but just catching up with the tons of things ive been missing throughout the years..somehow i became a fanatic for eifel towers and decided to learn 1 eifel tower variation each week..so far its been working...haha..yea so far...will see how many eifel tower i can actually learn...cant really find any videos with it lately...argh...looks like my plan is gonna be another myth.

weeks back i was watching this vid..and to my suprise.....the winner was the least expected...dont judge a auntie by her age?



im still thinking if i should go on with my pod cast plan..but im not too sure how the demand and support will be..so probably ill see how frequent i can blog before i start doing my pod cast.

Ok so i was reading Doc Pop blog after i found the url from the wiki podcast..and i saw this trick which i kinda like...besides the iron butterfly Paul Yath showed me..that was one awesome sexy trick.



and heres another one..and he produced the song as well..which then became the name of the trick. Tub of tabasco.



last trick from the Doc...a nice freehand trick...hopefully ill get to do these tricks in this week time...yeap..giving myself a whole week for 3 tricks...slow..but it should be a consistant learning process.



i find this vid really really cool...4 looping yoyos...how?watch and learn...i so wish i could do that.



Doc Pop is well known for his ability to invent weird tricks. Hes been yo-yoing for about 7 years and so have i...but i guess the only tricks i invented are the crappy ones..and i barely remember what i so called invented. Someone should come up with some book that explains the trick behind understanding the strings and shapes...that would be a good sale, better then those DVD's that are available.

Gravity pull

So its the back to basics...gravity pull..after starting yoing 7 years back in 1999...and stopping bout 2 years in between..im back to the scene. I was thinking if i could start blogging about my activities so i could actually keep track on my progress and see how much i could keep the flame burning.

so how it started?well...my friend Raymond had a call from someone who needed someone to do some shows...so yea..i accepted it. The next thing i know....i was some yoyomaster for yotech.


then dec 15 came...and the Asia Pasific yoyo competition was here..i missed the past few AP's and this is the 4th and also the last in Malaysia...so yea..might as well go to take a look. Met lots of new people there....well yea for the past two years since superyoyo started their promotion there was growth in the community. So anyways..met up with some international players who i could only see on the vidoes..most were friendly...yea..most *wink*


In the 3 days there...i believe i learned quite abit about tricks and yoyos...for all the 3 days there..it was pretty amazing..the atmosphere was weird..felt like a yoyo camp..people were throwing their yoyos from day till early in the day...4am and still people were swining the yoyo in the area near the stage...and in the hotel lift lobbies. The floors that had the yoers staying were not very peaceful at night i recon..with the people chating and laughing and practising their routine for the next day.

now that im back..and ive decided to see how far i can improve myself before the next big competition...haha having the lil drive in me now...so ill see how far i can go...and since the new tricks are so alien to me now..i got no idea where to start.

Got my 1st 2 duncan freehand zero from Raymond today....im thinking its sufficient for now...will have a speeder coming in later as well..yea..would be more then enough to prepare myself.


im spending alot now on yoyos...which i shouldnt be...but hopefully this will bring me some extra income in future...haha risky investment...im also starting to collect yoyos...so its draining more cash from me..hopefully it actually brings some cash back.
